FNTD Week #10 Game of the Week: Hornets beat the Hawks

Our Friday Night Touchdown Game of the Week was a lopsided victory for the Kirtland Hornets as they came away with the CVC Valley title with a 36-6 win over the Hawken Hawks.    The game was tied after the first quarter, but Kirtland scored 30 in the second quarter and led at the half 30-0.

The Hornets got plenty of yards on the ground as Joey Bates rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns and David Allchin rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown.   Allchin also caught three passes for 15 yards and a touchdown.  Kirtland had 298 yards in the first half as Hawken was held to just 25 yards.

Both teams are playoff bound.
