Man found guilty of murdering ex-girlfriend

SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio-- A man was found guilty Monday of multiple counts for the murder of his ex-girlfriend.

Jeffrey Conrad was convicted in the 2014 stabbing death of 40-year-old Amanda Russell. Police said the victim and suspect had a "tumultuous" relationship in the past and said Russell was in "fear" of Conrad.

On Monday, Conrad was found guilty of two counts of aggravated murder, one count of murder, one count of felonious assault, one count of violating a protection order, and one count of domestic violence.

Cuyahoga Falls police said Russell's teenage daughter found her mother's body behind an 8th Street duplex where they had lived for six months.

Conrad was later arrested for her murder.
