FNTD Week #9: The Commissioner’s Report

Friday Night Touchdown Commissioner Dan Coughlin headed west to watch the Midview Middies beat the Avon Lake Shoremen 35 to 14.  The Middies were led by Logan Bolin who found the endzone four times.  He caught three touchdown passes and scored on a punt return.   Quarterback Dustin Crum threw his four touchdown passes in the first half.

Avon Lake plays North Olmsted next week as Midview will play North Ridgeville.

Then he hopped in the car and headed to Rocky River as the Pirates beat the Elyria Catholic Panthers 33 to 14.   The victory crowned the Pirates the 2015 Great Lakes Conference Champions.   The Pirates scored plenty of points off of kicker Matt Goepfert leg as he hit four field goals.

Rocky River plays Holy Name next week as Elyria Catholic will play Gilmour Academy.
