Fire causes $180K in damage to city snow removal trucks

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A fire at a Cleveland transfer station caused some serious damage to two city snow removal trucks.

The fire broke out inside the Ridge Road station overnight.

The flames caused $100,000 in damage to one truck and $80,000 in damage to a second truck. Fire officials say one of the trucks was brand new.

There was also some minor structural damage to the hub itself.
