Authorities search for suspect in Citizens Bank robbery

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Police are looking for the suspect in a robbery at a Cleveland bank Tuesday morning.

It happened at about 10:15 a.m. at Citizens Bank, 4221 Pearl Road.

Authorities say a man entered the bank, implied that he had a weapon and passed a note indicating he was robbing the bank. The teller complied with the note, and no physical injuries were reported. No gun was seen.

The suspect fled out the back door of the bank.

The suspect is described as a white male standing between 5’6″ and 5’10” tall and weighing between 130 and 150 pounds. He was wearing a multi-colored baseball hat and a  “And One” dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his hat.

It’s believed that the suspect had tattoos on his hand.

Reward money is available for information leading to the identification and prosecution of the suspect. Tips can remain anonymous and can be provided to the Cleveland Police Department or the Cleveland Division of the FBI.
