Ohio Issue 2: Anti-monopoly amendment

Issue 2 is a constitutional amendment proposed by the Ohio General Assembly. It’s called the “anti-monopoly amendment.”

The issue would prevent anyone from proposing constitutional amendments for exclusive financial gain. It would also ban anyone from proposing amendments that would grant a license not available to other similar entities.

If Issue 2 and Issue 3, the pro-marijuana ballot initiative, both pass, the debate will likely be settled in court.
