COLUMBUS, Ohio- Before his own team took the field on Saturday, Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott weighed in on a controversial call against the Buckeyes’ rival.

Michigan linebacker Joe Bolden was ejected from the game against Michigan State in the second quarter following a personal foul for targeting.

The call to boot Bolden surprised everyone, including Elliott, who kept his thoughts brief.

Michigan lost, 27-23, with a botched punt attempt in the final play of the game. Michigan State improves its record to 7-0.

The Buckeyes play Penn State Saturday night.
