NORTH OLMSTED - Police confirmed to Fox 8 on Wednesday that they believe the threat to Great Northern Mall on Tuesday was a computer-generated swatting call.

There was a similar call made in June, but the mall was not evacuated following the first call.

Following Tuesday's threat, officers at the mall chose to evacuate as a precaution.

The call came in around 6:21 p.m.
