COVENTRY TOWNSHIP, OH –  “This little piggy went to market….this little piggy stayed home…” That may be how the children’s rhyme goes, but one little piggy in Coventry Township decidedly did NOT stay home recently.

Porkchop (who goes by just the one name, apparently) decided to take a little trip away from her house. The problem was, she didn’t tell her family about it first.

Eventually she took a little bit of a rest on the side of the road, which is where Summit County sheriff’s deputies caught up with her. Deputy Hoover, seen in the Facebook post above, had a deputy to piggy chat with Porkchop and convinced her that it might be a good idea to go back to her family.

Porkchop agreed, it seems. And so that little piggy finally went……home.
