AKRON, Ohio -- The jury deliberating in the trial of Kenan Ivery, who admits to firing the shots that killed Akron police Officer Justin Winebrenner on Nov. 16, 2014 has wrapped up day one of their deliberations. They will resume Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.

Ivery faces a possible death penalty if he is convicted of the most serious charges he faces.

He admits being the person who fired the shots that killed  Winebrenner, 36, at Papa Don's Pub in Akron. Four others were also hit or grazed by  bullets during the shooting.

The shooting happened when witnesses said Winebrenner helped remove Ivery from Papa Don's Pub for being unruly.
