Several shots fired, apartments hit on CSU campus

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland State University Police and Cleveland Police are investigating after upward of 20 shots were fired near an apartment building on campus early Thursday.

According to a safety alert sent to CSU students, about 20 shots were fired from a vehicle at East 24th Street and Chester Avenue at just after 2:30 a.m.

Several bullets hit the Langston Apartments. No one was injured.

The shots were fired from a light-colored newer model Chevrolet Malibu.

Police don't know how many people were inside the car, which headed west on Interstate 90.

Anyone with information should call police.
