Woman charged with aggravated murder following death of Solon man

SOLON, Ohio – Shirley Eng-Ku, 52, has been charged with aggravated murder following the death of Tommy Ku, in a Solon home on Thursday.

She is being held on $1 million bond and is set to appear in court on October 8 at 11 a.m.

Police were called to the Solon home on Thursday just before 11 a.m., finding Ku, 54, dead from an assault.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office is aiding Solon police while the investigation continues.
