Suspects claim they have bomb, gun in Huntington Bank robbery in Garfield Heights

GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio– Authorities are looking for two suspects accused of robbing Huntington Bank on Turney Road in Garfield Heights just before 10:30 a.m. on Friday.

The Cleveland Division of the FBI said one of the suspects walked up to the teller, passed a note which claimed he had a bomb and a gun in the bag he was carrying. The teller complied.

Both suspects took off and ran to a Hyundai Veloster. A witness took photos on their phone and said they saw the dye pack go off in the car.

Reward money is available for information which leads to those responsible. Tips to either the Garfield Heights Police Department or the Cleveland Division of the FBI can remain anonymous.
