Cleveland APL offers reward for information on cat shot with arrow
CLEVELAND- The Cleveland Animal Protective League is offering a $500 reward for information on the person who shot a cat with an arrow.
A good Samaritan found the kitten, now named Chance, on Sept. 16 in the area of West 65th Street and Colgate Avenue. Chance’s skin had partially healed around the arrow in his back.
He is also missing a back paw from an old injury, the Cleveland APL said.
Veterinarians removed the arrow and are waiting to fix his back leg until he recovers from an infection.
Anyone with information should call the Humane Investigations Hotline at 216-377-1630. The reward will go to the first person who provides a tip leading to the suspect’s prosecution.
