RICHFIELD, Ohio -- Agents were at the home of the Richfield mayor Tuesday morning, the FBI confirmed to the FOX 8 I-Team.

One person was taken into custody at Mayor Bobbie Beshara's house on West Streetsboro Road, FBI Special Agent Vicki Anderson said. Charges are expected on Wednesday, but the FBI could not provide any more details.

Beshara told FOX 8's Peggy Gallek the search involved a family member and she is not allowed to comment further. She said she is fully cooperating.

Beshara added that she will continue to work and serve the citizens of Richfield.

The FBI said the incident has nothing to do with the mayor's office or public corruption.
