Truck driver charged in deadly collision with cyclists in Brecksville

BRECKSVILLE, Ohio– The driver of a truck that collided with five cyclists in Brecksville has been charged.

The city prosecutor and assistant law director told FOX 8 that Timothy J. Wolf was served with two counts of vehicular homicide and two counts of wanton disregard of public safety.

The crash happened in the area of Snowville and Dewey roads just after 7 p.m. on Sept. 17 when the truck and cyclists collided.

Matthew Billings, 33, of Canton, was pronounced dead at the scene. James Lambert, 52, passed away on Sept. 25.
