PHILADELPHIA – Pope Francis led a mass in Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon and several Notre Dame Cathedral Latin students were in attendance.

“The minute we heard, we knew we wanted to be part of the event. So, the planning really began last March when it was finally released that he would indeed be coming to the United States and to Philadelphia,” NDCL Director of Ministries Beth Davis told Fox 8 earlier this week.

The students left the school bright and early on Saturday morning and are expected to be back late Sunday evening.
