SANDY SPRINGS, Ga.–  A woman caught the heroic actions of a group of drivers after two trucks crashed on a Georgia highway Friday afternoon.

A tractor-trailer and fuel tanker off the Interstate 285 bridge and onto another highway, police told WSB-TV. The two truck drivers were trapped in their vehicles.

Tameka Dupree said she helped one driver with his injuries, then caught the amazing moments as four people pulled the other driver to safety.

“It was instinct to help these people. The second instinct was to see one of the drivers of the Publix truck get out of the truck. It was amazing and the other guys who helped this other young man get out of his vehicle before the ambulance or officers even got there,” Dupree told WSB-TV. “It was just an act of God. Angels had to be all over that whole road.”

Both drivers suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The gas tanker was carrying about 8,000 gallons of fuel, but there was no leak.
