CLEVELAND- The all clear has been given after a gas leak prompted evacuations at The InterContinental Suites Hotel Tuesday morning, fire officials say.

The leak happened at Euclid Avenue and East 89th Street, which is near the Cleveland Clinic. A Dominion spokesman said the gas was turned off at 12:15 p.m. and repairs will be made this afternoon.

Due to the main gas break, which has been secured, precautionary measures were taken at The Cleveland Clinic's main campus. Several buildings were evacuated between E. 83rd and E. 89th Streets. Patients, caregivers and visitors have been transported and relocated to other areas on campus." The Cleveland Clinic issued an updated statement saying, 'All normal operations have resumed.'
