CLEVELAND, Ohio - Beauty Blogger Christina Marrale has noticed a growing trend of 'superfoods' being used in a variety of beauty regimens.
Christina taught Fox 8's Kristi Capel and Stefani Schaefer how to make beauty masks and scrubs from chia seeds, tumeric and red pepper.
Then Christina shared her smoothie bowl recipe with Fox 8's Wayne Dawson that uses goji berries and other vitamin-rich fruits and veggies that can also help reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Christina's Superfoods Beauty Recipes
Chia Seed Mask
2 parts chia seed to 1 part water. Let gel up for about 1 hour.
2 parts turmeric and 2 parts grain flour. Rub onto body or face.
Red Pepper Mask
Facial mask uses 1 red pepper. blend with 1-2 cups water and place on scalp. This increases blood circulation to that area which in turn stimulates hair growth.
Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Banana, chia, kale, frozen blueberries, goji berries, coconut milk and blend 1-2 minutes.
Smoothie served in bowl and you eat with a spoon and you can add things to it like granola.
