CLEVELAND, OH – It seems like a new bar or restaurant is popping up in The Flats every other week, and now another one is joining the list.
This one is called Punch Bowl Social. It’ll sit on the east side of the Cuyahoga River.
"We have 27,000 square feet of fun. We have three bars on this first level, a bar in our mezzanine and then opening spring of 2016, we'll have a roof top bar and seating up there as well,” said Patrick Williams.
He is the Beverage Director for Punch Bowl. It’s not open just yet, but he gave FOX 8 a sneak preview of what patrons can expect.
"It’s an ‘eatertainment’ concept. So it's all about fun and food at the same time,” he explained.
The diner has a really cool design and he said the menu will offer a lot of American classics with a twist. As for drinks, they plan to special in cocktails.
"So we have signature drinks, classic old school drinks, and one thing you'll notice is punch. So we do single serving, four serving and eight serving punch bowls and those are great for groups,” he said.
The entertainment side offers just as much.
There’s a bowling alley, arcade, shuffleboard, ping pong, and karaoke. Plus a ton of other games and activities.
“It’s a lot of fun and you can definitely spend your entire evening here at Punch Bowl,” said Training General Manager Drew Lewis.
He said they have multiple locations around the U.S. and they’re confident this one will do well.
“I'm excited to see people's faces as they walk in the door. They're always in amazement and they're always in awe of what we put in place here in Cleveland. So I'm excited about all of it,” he said.
The grand opening will be this Saturday at 7 p.m. You must buy a ticket to go. Every dollar made that night will be donated to the Salvation Army.
