Kitten in plastic bag thrown from van in Port Clinton

PORT CLINTON, Ohio- Police in Port Clinton are looking for the person who tossed a kitten out of a van window on Thursday.

The kitten was wrapped in a plastic bag and thrown into the grass near the Hy-Miler on Buckeye Boulevard just before noon.

Police said the manager of the gas station found the kitten, which appeared to be three to four weeks old. He was not hurt and is good health, aside from a few fleas.

The little one was taken to the Humane Society of Ottawa County.

The van was described as a late-1990s model Dodge Caravan.
