CLEVELAND – Police are investigating the death of a 24-year-old Cleveland man after he was shot and killed Saturday on Martin Luther King Drive.

Police responded to the scene around 12:30 p.m. and found the man inside a convenient store with a gunshot wound to his chest.

He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he passed away.

Early investigation shows that the man bought something at the store and turned left onto MLK when he left. A red car traveling on Dove Avenue fired shots from inside the car in the direction of the victim.

The car then left the area.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to contact the homicide unit at 216-623-5464.
