NEW YORK –  Actor and comedian Damon Wayans appeared on a New York City radio show Friday morning, and his comments on the Bill Cosby sex scandal are getting quite a bit of attention.

According to Yahoo Celebrity, the former “In Living Color” star says that Cosby should split up with his wife Camille and give a deposition telling the real truth:(please note some of the language he uses may be considered crude)

“If I was him, I would divorce my wife, wink-wink, give her all my money and then I would go do a deposition. I would light one of them three-hour cigars. I’d have me some wine and maybe a Quaalude and I would just go off, because I don’t believe that he was raping,” Wayans offered. “I think he was in relationships with all of them and then he was like, ‘You know what? [I’m] 78. It don’t work like that no more. I can’t get it up for any of y’all. Bye, b**ches.’ And then they’re like, ‘Oh, really? Rape!’”

Wayans also thinks that Cosby is in so much trouble because he has criticized young black men, losing their support. According to Wayans,  “I just don’t believe this. It’s a money hustle.”

After the backlash began, Wayans defended himself on Twitter:

Cosby has been accused by over 35 women of sexually assaulting them, at times drugging them before the assaults.
