FNTD Week #2: The Commissioner’s Report

Friday Night Touchdown Commissioner Dan Coughlin traveled to Avon where the Eagles soared to a 31-7 victory over the Avon Lake Shoremen. Eagles quarterback Jake Sopko threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown.

Next week the Eagles are on the road against the North Olmsted Eagles while Avon Lake will host the Westlake Demons.

He then traveled to Bay where there plenty of Rockets as the Bay Rockets grounded the Streetsboro Rockets 48-0. Quarterback John Koz had a great first half throwing three touchdowns. Bay jumped to a 28-0 half and kept the scores coming in the second half. Running back Nick Best ran in for a touchdown.

Bay will look to stay in the win column next week as they host Fairview while Streetsboro will take on Youngstown Valley Christian.
