SALISBURY TWP., Pa. -- A group known for showing its support for America's veterans took the time to help a little boy on his first day of school.

Sean Maehrer has Down syndrome and was getting ready for his first day of high school Tuesday near Allentown, Pa.

Some family friends were worried about Sean being bullied at school, so they put the word out on Facebook to help him.

Several motorcycle clubs caught word of it and organized dozens of motorcycles to drive to his house and give him an escort to school. They even gave Sean his own customized motorcycle helmet.

The goal was to make Sean one of the coolest kids in school and to make sure everyone knew better than to mess with him.

Sean's parents were so overwhelmed that they could barely talk, but they did manage to thank everyone who made the special day possible.

They pulled it all together in just two days.
