CLEVELAND -- A local family is praying for compassion after someone stole a wheelchair and minivan from youth minister who just had surgery.

Asia James, of Twinsburg, was about to preach her first sermon as youth minister at the Apostolic Church of the Living God in Cleveland Sunday.

About 30 minutes after her family parked their Dodge Caravan, it was gone.

In May, Asia had two back surgeries and uses the van and wheelchair to get around during her recovery.

She sill has a walker, but hopes whoever took the van and chair will have a change of heart and return it.
