It's a growing controversy in schools: Are dress codes too strict?
With students heading back to school across the country, some are already finding themselves in trouble.
WMAQ reports that students at a Chicago suburb high school are protesting over a rule that students can only wear shirts and dresses with sleeves.
Students say the rule is sexist, because it affects girls' clothing choices much more than that of boys. The administration says they've asked several girls to put a sweater or jacket on or leave class.
At a Kentucky school, students have launched a campaign to change the dress code, which bans students from wearing shirts that show that show their collarbones.
