MEDINA, Ohio -- Imagine going back to school without new clothes or a fresh haircut.

That's the reality for many students in Northeast Ohio.

The Angels for Kids Foundation, a local charity founded by Shanyn McCourt following the death of her parents at age 19, worked with Salon Rootz to provide back-to-school haircuts for local students.

The kids also received new outfits picked out especially for them based on their favorite stores, styles, and colors.
