Man’s body recovered from Cuyahoga River in the Flats

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The U.S. Coast Guard and Cleveland Fire Department were called to recover a body found in the Cuyahoga River Tuesday morning.

According to the Coast Guard, crews were called to area of the river known as ‘Collision Bend’ around 8 a.m. Tuesday. The scene is located at the end of Scranton Road in the Flats.

The body is that of a black male.
