Police stumble upon $215K worth of drugs in Canton home

CANTON, Ohio — While serving an arrest warrant at a home in Canton, authorities stumbled upon several marijuana plants and crystal meth worth nearly $215,000.

According to a release from the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, authorities went to 2302 11th St. N.W. in Canton to arrest Reine Silverlight, 42, on an unrelated charge.

Inside the home, they found and seized 189 marijuana plants and six ounces of crystal meth.

Silverlight and Darrin Saunders, 51, were charged with possession of a controlled substance and cultivating marijuana. Both were booked into the Stark County Jail.

The incident is still under investigation.
