Man robs First National Bank in Mentor

MENTOR, Ohio- The Mentor Police Department and the Cleveland Office of the FBI is investigating after a bank was robbed Monday morning.

It happened at the First National Bank on Center Street just before 11 a.m.

Mentor police said a man gave the teller a demand note and got away with cash. The suspect was last seen on Nowlen Street. According to police, no weapon was seen and no one was injured.

The suspect was wearing a Nike baseball hat, a purple button-down shirt and blue athletic shoes. Mentor police said he had visible tattoos on his neck.

Anyone with information should call Mentor police or the FBI.
