(CNN) -- Police are searching for two men who walked up to a Brooklyn house party and unleashed a hailstorm of bullets, wounding nine people.
Surveillance video captured one of the assailants walking along a residential street early Sunday morning. Even with several pedestrians nearby, he fires several rounds in front of him.
The passers-by panic and flee, one falling face-first onto the street while running away.
It's still not clear what prompted the shooting outside the house.
Immediately after the attack, New York police said 10 people were shot; late Sunday night, they said the number was nine.
The victims range in age from 19 to 38, New York police said. Two were shot in the neck but were in stable condition.
Police have not released a detailed description of the gunmen, who remain at large.
