Canton woman attacked three people with frying pan, police say

CANTON, Ohio- A Canton woman is accused of hitting a man and two teens with a frying pan.

It happened at about 1 a.m. Monday at a home on Gonder Avenue.

According to the police report, Ashley M. Griesser, 22, hit the man, his 16-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old friend with a pan she took from the house. She fled, but returned when Canton officers arrived.

Police said Griesser hit officers and damaged police equipment. They also found prescriptions on Griesser that did not belong to her.

She faces charges for aggravated burglary and felonious assault.
