Storm causes downed power lines, flooding in Geauga County

BAINBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, Ohio- A line of severe storms knocked down trees and caused power outages Tuesday afternoon.

According to FirstEnergy, more than 600 customers are without power in Geauga County and nearly 500 are without power in Cuyahoga County, as of 5:25 p.m. (Get the latest power outage updates on FirstEnergy's outage map)

The Geauga County Sheriff's Office reported several roads were blocked by trees and debris.

In Chagrin Falls, police said there are areas of high water around the city. Monticello at Solon Road, and Cleveland Road between Bell and Washington are closed.
