CLEVELAND- An abandoned house on Cleveland’s east side caught on fire Friday afternoon.

It happened on Superior Avenue near East 41st Street just after 3 p.m.

Cleveland Fire Department spokesman Larry Gray said the house had no running electric or gas, eliminating two potential causes. It’s possible squatters were living there, according to fire officials.

No injuries were reported.
