SAN FRANCISCO – San Francisco news crews were mugged and had their camera equipment stolen on Thursday morning while shooting for their morning news.

Both KTVU and NBC Bay Area had crews near the San Francisco pier when they were attacked.

A man with a face mask and a gun pulled up in a black BMW near the crews as they were both preparing to go live.

You can see in the video below that Cara Liu looks off camera as she spoke with the anchor in studio. That was because the NBC crew was being mugged nearby.

Shortly after the NBC Crew was mugged, the man came after the KTVU crew, taking their equipment as well.

None of the cameramen or reporters were injured and police are currently looking for suspects at this time.
