Swimming advisory for Edgewater, Huntington beaches after rainfall pushes sewage into lake

CLEVELAND- The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District issued a swimming advisory for Edgewater Beach Tuesday morning.

Severe storms caused a sewer overflow at the beach, discharging raw sewage into Lake Erie.

The Cleveland Metroparks said Huntington Beach is also closed for swimming because of poor water quality.
