Victoria Price is the daughter of Hollywood legend Vincent Price and she is touring the country promoting the re-issue of her parents popular cookbook 'A Treasury of Great Recipes'. These are recipes Vincent and Mary Price collected from their travels all over the world. Fox 8's Gabe Spiegel spent some time with Victoria to learn more about her famous parents love of food and Dallas Martinex, chef at Luxe Kitchen & Lounge shared a recipe that is part of a special Vincent Price dinner event.

Risotto Alla Milanese (Rice with saffron and parmesan cheese)
4 tablespoons butter
1 sweet white onion - small diced
2 cloves garlic- minced
1 1/2 cups rice - Arborio style
3 cups vegetable stock- ( can use chicken stock or saffron broth)
1/4 cup white wine (I use Chablis)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 shaved parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon saffron sprigs
Pinch Salt and white pepper
In saucepan melt butter, add onion and garlic sweat until clear and add rice (Arborio). Toast rice in pan until clear, add wine and 1 1/2 cups stock (any stock flavor you choose). Cook on low heat until liquid is gone. Add remainder 1 1/2 cups stock and cook until all liquid is gone. Rice should be sticky but still somewhat al dente. Add heavy cream, salt & pepper and saffron sprigs. Rice mixture will become a yellow color. Cook on high heat until heavy cream liquid is gone and add parmesan cheese to tightened. Serve warm on plate adding additional cheese to top if desired.
