A tornado warning was issued for Stark County Thursday night just after 7 p.m. There were several reports of trees down in Uniontown and Hartville.

At one point, Interstate 76 westbound at State Street was closed because of trees blocking the roadway. Downed power lines closed state Route 43 between Middlebranch Avenue and Royer Street.

Thousands of people lost power, and first responders were out late alerting people and diverting traffic around the debris.
