Cherry Crisp

  • 4 C. fresh pitted cherries
  • 3 tbs flour
  • 1 ½ C. sugar


  • 4 individual packages instant oatmeal (little more than 1 cup)
  • 1 C. sugar
  • ½ C. flour
  • ½ C. brown sugar firmly packed
  • ½ C. melted butter



Preheat oven 350

In a large bowl, combine pitted cherries and flour, tossing to coat cherries. Add 1 ½ C. sugar and mix well. Pour into a 9×13 inch or 2 quart casserole dish.

In a separate bowl, combine oatmeal, 1 C. sugar,1/2 C. flour and brown sugar. Mix ingredients together. Add melted butter. Stir well. Spoon over cherries.

Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.

Serve warm or room temperature with or without ice cream.
