Update: Both girls were found safe on Sunday

AVON, Ohio — A statewide endangered child advisory was issued this morning for two girls missing from Avon, but both girls have been found in Elyria Ohio.

Their conditions are unknown.

The 2-year-old and 12-year-old were last seen on Mulberry Lane in the Timberlake Apartment Complex at around 4 p.m. Saturday, June 6. The older girl was was babysitting at the time.

Police tell us that the 12-year-old is known to try to pass herself off as an adult and that it’s possible that she may be passing the 2-year-old off as her own child. She has also been known to visit internet dating sites, and did try to meet up with someone yesterday, but that encounter fell through.
