CLEVELAND- Every child cringes when their parents join social media. But it’s a little different when you’re the 53-year-old founder of Quicken Loans and the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Dan Gilbert’s mother, Shirley Gilbert, signed up for Twitter and posted her advice to the Cavs for the NBA Finals.

“The Cavs have to slow down Golden State’s three-point shooting,” Shirley Gilbert said in a video on Twitter. She also said Cleveland power forward Tristan Thompson he needs to be a beast.

According to the bio of @CavsDansMom, she was 34 when the Cleveland Browns won the NFL Championship in 1964 and she’s a “high level NBA analyst.” She warns, “Don’t mess with me.”

Game One of the NBA Finals is Thursday at 9 p.m. at Oracle Arena in Oakland.
