BEREA, Ohio- The brown and orange will play in the home of the scarlet and gray this fall.

The Cleveland Browns will host its “Orange and Brown Scrimmage” at Ohio Stadium in Columbus on Aug. 7.

“The intrasquad scrimmage is an important element of our preparation for the 2015 season,” head coach Mike Pettine said in a release on Thursday. “Ohio Stadium will provide a great atmosphere for our team to compete, and I’m confident our players and fans will enjoy the experience.”

The event at The Horseshoe is free. The fun will start at St. John Arena three hours earlier for Dawg Pound Drive. Fans can meet Swagger the mascot, enjoy live music and get autographs from Browns alumni.

“The Dawg Pound extends across the state and nation, and we know they have a strong presence in the Greater Columbus area. We hope fans from throughout Ohio will be able to experience this event at The Horseshoe to complement our open practices in Berea,” Browns President Alex Scheiner said.
