CLEVELAND-- Two men were rescued from the water at Wildwood Park in Cleveland Monday night.

According to Cleveland Assistant Fire Chief Timothy O'Toole, a call of two men in distress in the lake came in just before 8 p.m. One was clinging to the break wall; the other was in open water.

The Coast Guard pulled both men out of the water. Both were taken to Hillcrest Hospital. The Coast Guard said the men reportedly jumped from a fishing pier near Wildwood Marina.

O'Toole says the water was cold and choppy at the time.
