INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- A mug shot published in an Indianapolis high school yearbook is causing a big debate among parents and school administrators.

WISH reports that the North Central High School 2015 yearbooks contains a mug shot and description of an alleged crime committed by a former school employee. Matthew Carrington was the assistant swim coach before his arrest back in February for child seduction.

In large black font, the yearbook states "Swim Coach Fired" next to the 36-year-old's photo. Underneath the photo, it states that Carrington was found to have inappropriate text messages with a member of the girls swim team.

Some parents say that the mugshot and write-up should have been kept to student newspapers, websites and the news.

But the school says they are standing by the decision. The school has a policy that's been in place the past 20 years that it will cover adults in the building convicted of criminal activity.
