In a physical Game 2, the Cavs came away with the win, 94-82. They now lead the Eastern Conference finals series 2-0 and return home Sunday for Game 3.
The Cavs and Hawks kept it close in the first quarter, with the Cavs having to compensate for the loss of Kyrie Irving, who sat out due to knee issues.
LeBron James took a hard foul from the Hawks' Pero Antic, who was given a Flagarant 1 after referees reviewed the video. James stretched out afterwards and didn't slow down. The Cavs went into the second quarter with a 26-21 lead.
The Cavs held on their small lead, going into halftime up 54-49.

The third quarter is when the Cavs really turned it on though, keeping at least a 15-point lead for a majority of the quarter. They had a 21-7 run to start the third.
The entire postseason has been physical for the Cavs, starting with the loss of Kevin Love in the first series with Boston. The injuries continued with Irving and James during the series with Chicago as well, and as of Friday, Irving's knee injury against the Hawks is day-to-day.
