CLEVELAND– Charges have now been filed for a hit-and-run crash that happened on Saturday, May 9, that killed a motorcyclist.

Daryl Brown, 62, has been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide. He is also facing a charge for not stopping after an accident that resulted in a death.

The suspect left the truck and fled the scene

The accident happened around 9:30 Saturday night at East 114 and Miles. Court papers show Brown drove “recklessly” and hit the motorcycle as it was coming toward him killing Sheldon Starling.

The Fox 8 I-Team checked Brown’s driving record. It shows his license has been suspended since last August.

The records show five convictions for driving under suspension, one for failure to show a driver’s license, and a drug or alcohol OVI back in 1991.
