WILLOUGHBY HILLS – Firefighters responded to a call Sunday morning of a dog located in a ravine in the Chagrin River valley.

Arnie, who is a more than 100-pound Irish Hound mix, was unable to climb back up to safety.

Firefighters were able to climb down and help Arnie out unharmed.

On a lighter note, Arnie is famous locally for being one of the dogs on beer labels made from Akron’s Thirsty Dog Brewery.
