Police are warning Facebook users about keeping their personal information more private this Mother’s Day.

According to The Daily Dot, there is a post going around Facebook asking users to share the name, birth date, weight and other personal information about their children.

Police want users to know this makes their children much more susceptible to identity theft.

Although sharing information about kids is alright on social media, sharing too much personal information can be potentially damaging.
